Fly Beirut
A contemporary Lebanese identity built around movement, connection, and a window to the world.
Year :
2026
Industry :
Aviation & Air Transportation
Client :
Fly Beirut / MEA Group
Project Duration :
4 Weeks

THE CHALLENGE :
Creating a symbol that feels unmistakably Lebanese while looking forward.
The challenge was to create a contemporary identity for Fly Beirut, one that could connect Beirut with the world while carrying a clear sense of Lebanese identity.
Rather than relying on familiar aviation symbols, the concept needed to express travel, movement, and connection through a symbol that could feel relevant beyond the aircraft itself.
The result began with a simple question: How can a Lebanese symbol become a window to the world?

THE IDEA :
FROM BEIRUT. TO EVERYWHERE.
The identity was built around four simple ideas: an aircraft window, the Lebanese cedar, a flight path, and a spark.
The aircraft window represents a view beyond the familiar and towards new destinations. The simplified cedar creates an immediate connection to Lebanon, while the curved path introduces movement, departure, and the journey ahead. A subtle spark adds a sense of energy, possibility, and new beginnings.
Together, these elements create a symbol that is rooted in Beirut, but designed to move beyond it.

THE IDENTITY SYSTEM :
A logo designed to become more than a logo.
The identity was developed as a flexible system with multiple logo configurations, including primary, English, Arabic, horizontal, stacked, and app/favicons.
The visual language is built around Fly Beirut Red (#970D11), Retro Black (#20201E), and Ivory White (#F7F6F2), creating a distinctive palette that balances Lebanese character with a contemporary feel.
The aircraft window then evolves beyond the logo, becoming a visual frame for every destination, giving each place its own view while keeping the identity connected to the same core idea.

BRAND IN USE :
FROM BEIRUT. TO EVERYWHERE.
The identity was explored across a range of aviation and brand touchpoints, from aircraft livery and airport signage to boarding passes, flags, uniforms, merchandise, and digital applications.
The window system also creates opportunities for destination-led communication, allowing different cities to take on their own visual expression while remaining part of the same brand language.
The final direction brings everything back to one idea:
A symbol rooted in Lebanon, designed to open a window to the world.
